I wouldn't say exorbitant, I know things cost a lot to manufacture on a small scale. Not having a go at Tralex. He replied to my query within minutes. Just not for me at that price.

I get that if conditions don't really warrant it.  Texas heat makws one a necessity.🤨

Yeah, opposite here. It's soft wet ground that's the problem. I'll continue with the plastic puck on a string that I keep in the glovebox.

Have found a $15.00 enlarger pad on flea bay that I am using and it works, however, I have ordered another one that I think will be a better fit for the base of the side stand. I am also going to make a couple of spacers to mount on the under side of the enlarger pad to lift the bike into a more upright position when on the side stand as I don't like the amount of lean with the stock setup.
I will post more when I have completed this little project as I know there are others who would like an economical solution to this little problem.

    Project update:
The second enlarger pad I purchased does not fit so I scrapped that idea, however, I still want to add some spacers at the bottom of the existing enlarger pad to get the bike to be more upright when on the side stand. When I have done this I will post an update.
