    New Bike

    Dear mates,

After riding my 14 Trophy SE for 3 yrs last month I changed it for a 2020 Aprilia Shiver 900 at 2000 km.

It was a kind of though decision but last summer when we rode and camped at several locations, the country roads that I passed through caused some problems. Adding the camping equipment plus the weight of the bike was a problem for me at low speeds and narrow turns.

The new bike Shiver 900 is 218 kg and has very easy ridebility. It's 95 hp with an excellent torque even at low gears. It has a multimedia supported lcd which connects to your phone & intercom and displays navigation, music, phone calls etc. It performes these through ios & android Aprilia app.

I want to thank ALL members and admins of this excellent forum for providing invaluable knowldge and experience during these years.

Sure I will miss you and my Trophy in future but as you all know we are riding for joy and we must feel it at all times while riding.

Accept my best wishes for happy and safe riding.  :305:

With what it cost you to adapt the amplifier equipment and rear speakers and now you change your motorcycle.  :187: :187: :187:

I am glad to know that you feel more comfortable with a lighter weight motorcycle.  :152: :152: :152:

I wish you luck with your new bike.  :028: :028: :028:

Stop by from time to time and tell us how that bike is doing.  :821: :821: :821:

    Dear Digital

I am not the one who performed the amplifier and rear speakers mod but another Turkish mate who is also the member of this site.

It was really a well done mod.

Thanks for your sincere comments, stay safe.  :158:
