    Rear switchback indicators/turn signals.

After a successful installation some time ago of the white/amber front bulbs, I was looking to do the same for the rear bulbs.  Anyone done this yet? (Normal running with red bulbs displaying in housing, switching to amber for turn indication).

I haven't found the equivalent Canbus compliant bulbs yet, but interestingly I found these on eBay in Ireland, where the power consumption is reduced from 40% to 80%  :745:  They also have a light angel that make bulb work under low heat  :112:

    Yeah......

Anyway, if anyone has found the right bulbs, a link would be appreciated...

Use these for the rear indicators:

Use this for the front parking light:

Thanks John,  but I maybe didn't make it clear.  I already have those bulbs but I'm looking for switch back red/amber bulbs to increase rear light visibility at night.  i.e. three red rear lights rather than just one.

How about these - available on eBay from MTW Direct :

DENALI T3 Modular Switchback Signal Pods | Rear - Red/Amber

They are not cheap at GBP £119.77, but they are a reputable Make ( Denali ) and UK Seller.

    Cheers  :821:

I have seen rear independent "stick" indicators that are:-

Running - 5 bars Steady red
Brake - 5 bars Flashing red
Turn - 5 bars "Flowing" amber

I was tempted to buy them and try to hack something up as they were cheap enough but decided I didn't need another project  :015:

I just checked a company I bought dash LED's a while back and see they are now doing REAR switchback kits for a couple of Japanese bikes, I'll drop them a line and see what might be available.

I don’t know where you may find canbus compliant red/amber switchbacks.  However, it is easy enough with a 3157 socket and resistor. This opens up your bulb selection for an affordable price. This post is from 2017 and my bulbs are still going strong.
