That Wiring Diagram looks familiar !  :015:

It could be confusing and misinterpreted though if you don't notice the
"Harness with black and purple wire from the original" note,
as it looks like the Black and purple wires are connected together !

The original Trophy Horn wires are used to connect to Terminals 85 & 86 of the Relay.

There is further useful "horny" information in this Topic ( May 2014 ) :
After Market Horn ( where the original version of that Diagram originated from ! )  :015:

Cheers  :821:

No Coconut, it is understood that it is the harness cover where the two cables, black and purple, are located. Hence it is much wider than the two cables. And Separated at the end by the round drawing.

Looks like some people learn the hard way  :164: and they have to make their own mistakes... ( :008: )
Guess what- my proudly, elegantly mounted horn got weaker (now barely producing 95 dB) after some 300 miles or a total of 5-6h in the warm air behind the radiator. I contacted the Amazon seller, they wanted a "video proof" and will decide how to rectify it. I will post here how things ended.

I am looking for a replacement now... any tips?
did anyone use the method of "EZ Moto Tim" from youtube? (separate compressor under the seat area and trumpets behind the radiator) ? are the snail horn equally impressive than an air horn?

I have a couple of cheap car horns installed.  Think they are Snail Car Horns that I picked up on Amazon.  They don't use an air compressor.  They are louder than the Strebel.  I have one mounted on each side in the same area behind the radiator.  So far so good.  The pair cost $18.
