Hi everyone. I'm new to the Triumph family and have just put a deposit down on a 2014 Trophy SE with 24k miles on the clock. The garage is servicing and MOTing it and say they are putting on a new exhaust down pipe. Should be delivered to me in 2-3 weeks so now just have to get some kit bought before it arrives.

My biking history is riding scramblers off road as a teenager and maybe doing a few miles on the road before I was legal. Did my CBT at 16 and rode a Suzuki TS50 everywhere until I got my car licence at 17. Got my full bike licence at 21 and had a couple of Honda Hornet 600. Used to swap bikes with mates who had GSXR 750 and ZZR 1100. Stopped biking at 30 and now after a 10 year break I'm back with the Trophy. Looking forward to the bike and having a look round this forum.

:400: Just in time to outrun the midges  :016:

That's a good job to get out of the way and hopefully included in the sale if they're fitting a genuine set?

Welcome to the group. A fine bike for those lovely roads you have up there and if this madness ever finishes, for further afield too.

20k service ?  I would check with them because rather than the full 20k service (which runs around 800 to 900 quid) I would bet they are changing the oil and filter, pumping up the tyres and nowt else.  Call me cynical if you want....but.....
