The photos that I have previously uploaded were stored on my mobile.

Now I am next to the motorcycle and I have taken two photos where you can see the connectors on the left and right side to connect the two rear heated grips.

Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

OK. So I bought the wraps, installed them, and I was using a Hella plug into the pillion socket for power. They work great and PIAM is very happy. She has used them 3 times. Today we went riding and I had no power to my heated grips and no power to the wraps. A little investigation revealed that there was no power to any of the sockets except the glove box USB which I believe is powered from the radio. I checked the top box socket and it DID have power. I checked fuses and found the 20 amp fuse in position 4 had blown. (SE btw). The fuse for the heated grips looked ok but I swapped it for a different one and now they work. The 3 amp fuse in the wraps appears to have blown. Questions !! Is there a link between the heated grips fuse and the socket fuse ie 20 amp ? Or is is pure coincidence ? If these wraps have caused the fuse to blow is there something different I should be doing ? Should I not plug the Hella plug into the pillion socket until the engine is running to prevent power surges at start up. I read that the 3 amp fuse for the wraps is a "slow blow" fuse to prevent it blowing during engine starts. In 117000 kms I have never had a fuse blow. Any advice gratefully accepted and happy riding to you all.
