    Hello From NZ

    Hi all,

I have just put down a deposit on a mint condition 8300km Blue 2016 TTSE.
I will be doing plenty of lurking until it is ready to be picked up.
Great source of info and a width of knowledge from what I have found so far  :152:
As we are all in lock down here at the moment I may have to wait impatiently for a little bit yet!

Anyway names Jim and I am of 67 vintage.
Looking forward to touring the South Island on the Trophy as Summer is on the way here.
Ironically I just sold my 99 Trophy 900 a couple of months ago (before I moved house) and didn't plan on buying another Trophy.
    But I just couldn't resist....something about those triples...... :007:
The SE will share garage space with my 2017 Tiger Sport

:400: jimxlhr8. Nothing wrong with the earlier 3 cylinder 900cc Triumph's. Put many a kilometre on them when I worked for the Australian distributor. The 1215 is just so much better. Wife and I did the North island in May 2011 [in a car though]. I seriously need to get back over "the ditch" to do the South island. As you have said, lots of info here on this Forum. Enjoy your "new" Trophy when it arrives.  :821: :028:

Hi jimxlhr8 and :400: to the Club !

I made the same transition from the previous Model 900cc Trophy up to the Trophy SE.
There's a Photo of mine on the Forum "History of the Triumph Trophy" Page,
and I just know you will be SO impressed with the updates and modifications that have been made,
including but not limited to ( and in no particular order ) :

    • 1215cc Fuel Injection
    • Shaft Drive
    • ABS
    • Traction Control
    • Linked Brakes
    • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
    • Electrically Adjustable Suspension
    • Electrically Adjustable Screen
    • Extensive Trip Computer
    • Audio System with Bluetooth, USB Input for Media Player / Memory Stick / iPod etc,
plus GPS Audio Input and Power connectors
    • LED Rear Light Unit ( not Indicators )
    • Just ONE Lock for each Pannier, and the Top Box ( where fitted ) not Three !
    • Auto locking Storage Box below left Handlebar Grip
    • Heated Grips ( Option - The Switch is already fitted )
    • Heated Seats Option

If you want to kill some time while waiting, and start getting familiar with the Instrument Panel Menu,
then this Topic might interest you, providing you have Microsoft PowerPoint, or PowerPoint Viewer,
which I put together as a guide : "HOW TO: Navigate the Trophy Menu."

    Cheers  :821:
