Yesterday we headed into the massive Custer State Park in South Dakota for three nights of camping. On the way we stopped at Jewel Cave National Monument, which currently has over 200 miles of underground passages, with the expectation that many more miles have yet to be discovered.

Impressive!
Like in the western movies.
On days of rain or intense heat there is not even a tree to provide shade.

On Tuesday we rode the wildlife loop in Custer State Park, and saw plenty of deer, bighorn sheep, and buffalo. We ended the day at Wind Cave National Park.

Wind Cave NP is a interesting place about how it was found and how much of it left unexplored I hope you had time to go down inside.

You are on a nice trip!
