Digital stuff not working in winter?

I ran across the two statements below in a thread about speedo errors.

Yes the lack of digital early morning is a pain. At least Triuph admits it knows about it and is looking at a fix.

I know, I know, I'm being paranoid about pulling the trigger on a TT SE - Yet another thing to add to my list for Triumph to fix before pulling the trigger.   :431:

But, since I ride year round, in temps well below 4 degrees C (my lowest ride temp to date is -19 C), this is a concern for me.   :125:

Did any others see this issue last winter?

I picked my bike up in Upstate New York and the first week was spent in temps around -2C to 0 C.  I had no problems at all with the speedo.

scubadvr.... if you forever put off the decision to 'pull the trigger' as you put it on a new Trophy whenever you here of some possible thing that 'might' go wrong you are never going to get one!

Just go for it..... read and believe all the positive comments in here too... you will love the bike!

Actually, I'm not as put off as my posts may suggest.  The fuel tank issue is behind us, and the fork seals are no big deal.   The one issue that puts me off the most, quite frankly, is the TPS issue or whatever causes the engine to just quit.  I can't have that while commuting to work, or worse yet, in the middle of a peg-scraping Arkansas curve.

I'm just hoping the '14s will have all the major bugs worked out, which also coincides with my savings being sufficient for a purchase!   :007:

And on the speedo being analog -  :138:
