Wife Put the Trophy Down For a Nap

Got a frantic call at work this morning.  Seems the wife thought she needed to move the Trophy further out of the way for the garage door man who was coming today.  She's never touched any part of a motorcycle but the passenger seat and foot pegs.  Yep, lifted it off the side stand and over it went.  I got home as soon as I could and uprighted the poor thing.  Scratched up the body work and side case, but the only real damage was a broken front turn signal lens.  The upside is I had enough reward points at the dealer the turn signal assembly cost me nothing out of pocket.

Was I wrong to tell her she wouldn't get in this kind of trouble if she stayed in the kitchen and out of the garage?

If a man was on a desert island and he spoke, and no woman was around to hear him, would he still be wrong?

On the other hand, would you have felt better if the garage door man knocked it over instead?  :187:

The intention was good. But the important thing is that you do not hurt yourself.

I told her not to worry about it.  The lens repair is simple and I'll just hit the scratches with some touch up paint.  We're going to ride it until it is ready for the salvage yard, so trade in or resale value isn't an issue.  I'm sure she will leave it where I put it from now on.
