First new sport-tourer in years: Honda NT1100

So I'm very happy with my Trophy. Maybe except for the weight during low speed maneuvers :P But I was thinking the other day, there are basically no new (sports-)tourers on the market any more (Ignoring the Goldwing, BMW RT, BMW K1600 and various baggers you can't get in europe).

Then suddenly yesterday, there are videos on youtube that Honda will release a new sports-touring model. It's not up there in terms of comfort compared to the Trophy (nothing about heated seats, the windscreen looks smaller and sounds like it's manually adjustable, etc) but still...

With my TTSE at 80,000 miles and me nearing 71 years old I've been looking at my options to change.

This Honda definitely looks worth a test ride.  I do also like the look of the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 so at present these are the options I'm considering.

Liked the video so thanks for sharing.
    Love, light, and kindness,

I have a 2021 ATwin, and it's better than sliced bread, for me at least.
I've been eagerly awaiting the rumored ATwin motor based sport tourer.
Could be one in my garage this year.
Trust me, the motor, while not as amazing as the 1200 triple, is very very fun and more than enough power for the likes of me.
I do wished they'd adapted shaft drive, but .. I've been living with chains and their attendant PITA all my riding life...

Love my Trophy, but when it's worn out, this looks very promising. About 100 lbs lighter too.

I saw this just the other day, too, and thought the same thing- Finally, something I can get excited about when it comes time to replace the Trophy.  It's looking like we'll have to wait for it in the states, though.  I was reading everything I could find, and one source finally said electronic wind screen.  Look close at the pics, too. I think it's electric.

I don't think so, no controls for adjusting the screen ... (i cannot find them on any image)
