My toll pass is not the transducer type, it's a barcode type that is read optically from overhead cameras.  When we traded in our previous SUV with a transponder type and ordered one for the minivan, we got a new toll pass that is the same type as the one for my motorcycle.  It was recommended that it be attached to the back of the rear view mirror.  Has to be visible to be read by the cameras.
