    Windshield Strange Operation

Trophy’s windshield is refusing to come up when I start the bike. When I push the windshield switch it just budges a little up or down. The fix seems to be to turn it off,  restart it, and try it in a few minutes down the road and it works. It seems it may be related to washing the bike, it seems to happen the day after I wash it. But works immediately after washing the bike, but not the next day. Is this a common problem, if so is it leading to a larger one?

Mine does the same thing, and I don't see it as a problem. I adjusts perfectly once i start riding. I'm certainly not loosing sleep over it.  :028: :028:

Check the condition of your Battery, Battery connections, and Battery voltage,
as Low Battery Voltage can result in this kind of issue.

... and confirm you have had the U.S.Audio Software updated to Version 1.04E
as previous Versions have a Bug that can drain the Main Battery !

    Details here : Power drain.

    Cheers  :821:

As HACKLE mentioned, mine occasionally does the same thing, despite the fact that I just disassembled and lubricated all of the linkage. If I pull the windshield up by hand while operating the button, it will rise to wherever I wish, and then function properly from that point on. My battery is on a smart charger all the time, so in my case I know the problem is not battery related.

I just consider this another uniquely British quirk on my Trophy.   :015:

It could also be linked to a lack of lubrication in the mechanism, it just happened to mine...

As I mentioned, I just cleaned and lubricated the mechanism very recently.
That is definitely the cause of the issue in my case...  :110:
