TrophyCode program to search for DTC's
    on: Nov 08, 2021, 09.22 pm

These days I have been entertaining creating a program to search in less than a second any DTC of the 117 that we have available.

    He has christened it "TrophyCode".

It is a tool that accompanies a file with the database.

I leave you some photos, the program is finished, but I want to review everything before uploading it to the network and I don't know if it can be uploaded to the forum so that anyone who wants it can download it.

    Interesting !  :028:

How big is the file and what is the file extension type (e.g. .exe) ?

I'm not at home now. I think I remember that the two files do not exceed 500 Kb.

The database is a Dat and the executable with an extension. exe

The dor files must always stay together. Or on the desktop in the folder.

Is it preferable to send it in rar or Zip?

    That should be fine.

zip is probably better for most people.

If it's "zipped" and less than 1MB then you can probably upload it no problem.

Perfect. So I compress it in Zip.
    A question!
How can I upload it to the forum?

Once the ZIP file is unzipped, it will create a folder called TrophyCode with two files. TrophyCode.exe and dtc_s.dat. Under no circumstances, these two files should be separate. The dtc_s.dat file is the database necessary for the TrophyCode.exe executable to work. So they must always be in the same folder. I was able to change the folder, rename the folder, or even without a folder and the files alone on the desktop. But don't forget that you must always stay together.

The executable does not need installation ...

    I hope you enjoy it.

    Greetings
