Thanks for adding me. Have had bikes since 1964 and now considering changing my Moto Guzzi Norge for a Trophy. The extra features of the Trophy are appealing but the Norge is dead simple to work on. Any advice on what to look out for when buying a Trophy would be appreciated.

If it is a Trophy SE, it is a very complete bike.
Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

to the forum. Quite a stable you have there. All of them interesting in their own way!

Hi vass234 and
to the Forum !
Have a look at this Topic, where I pulled together a few things to look out for
when viewing a Pre-owned Trophy that you are considering buying,
but don't be out off by what may seem to be a long list of problems ! :
What to look for when Buying a Pre-Owned ( Used ) Trophy SE
Many of the items in the list have only affected a small number,
and many of them have been addressed with updates and Recalls.
Unlike your current bike, you may find the Trophy is more challenging to work on,
and the major services at each 20,000 miles, where Valve clearances are checked and adjusted,
are quite expensive, but this is compensated for by only needing a service annually or every 10,000 miles,
which is a higher interval than many other motorcycles in the same class.
Cheers
HAVE YOU HAD YOUR IGNITION WIRING SAFETY RECALL INSPECTION DONE YET ?

Welcome aboard
I just love the Norge, too bad it's discontinued...
