    Horrible engine noise

As some people have asked about the excessive noise in the engine and that it vibrates in the footrests, I leave you some photos of the state of the part of the alternator that is jammed and that produces a noise that we do not like to hear, it is a noise as if some connecting rod or crankshaft bearings are in bad condition.

State of the pieces that remain entangled and produces that vibration and excess noise.

I don't know what code number those pieces have. But I am sure there is a replacement for that kit.

It's called the decoupler and practically all 1215 triples get that knack-knack-knack noise when first started up.  Both of my Trophys (Trophies?) did that.

He has been doing it for years, I changed the entire alternator and he hasn't done it anymore.

I know that this kit is sold separately because in a Tiger Explorer they changed it and he sent me photos of the kit.

That noise was continuous and very annoying. The annoying sound never stopped.

I guess that's good to know, but a little worrisome.
