If you find that you do need a sun shade ( you may not )
then this one looks good :

Wunderlich Sun Shade for Garmin Zumo XT

I have not tried it myself - I have a Zumo XT, but not much Sun !

    Cheers  :821:

    Thanks, Coconut.
I was going to comment that The Sun tends to be a bit more intense in Arizona than in your parts ‘round this time of year, but I didn’t want to rub it in.  :164:

I purchased mind at the beginning of last fall  and have put 20000+ miles on it this summer. Several trips of 3000 mile or longer, travelling full days going east and west across the US and the screen is plenty bright to see at all times of the day. My previous Unit was an 660 and it needed a sun screen when sun shined from behind. I was never having any problems seeing the XT screen. You can vary the brightest with unit controls. I also used the Triumph trophy mount. Lots of bright sun thru out my travels. 300% better than my 660.

Thanks for the glowing report!  :153:
Sounds like you've gotten your money's worth out of your new Garmin already.  :169:
