    Rear Wheel Centre Cap

Hi I may get around to powder coating my wheels over winter and also since putting a shorter aftermarket exhaust on I notice the centre hole in the wheel more, even when the panniers are on, which they nearly always are.
I cannot help thinking that a centre cap to tidy the look of the rear wheel centre hole, would be an improvement and should have been done at the factory. Anybody else done this and what did you use, I was thinking of something stainless, polished alloy or plastic chrome with a triumph badge. That said it probably only bothers those who have changed out the exhaust for something shorter.

That hole is tapered, so you may struggle
to find anything that will fit and stay in there !

I'm not aware of a product on the market for your proposed application.
That fact suggests that there aren't too many people who feel the same as you.  :431:

It doesn't mean that you are wrong for feeling the way you do.
    Just unique!  :038:

I may measure the opening later today and see if I could 3D print something out of PLA plastic.   Might even research engine spinner markings to see if Spitfires used some sort of spiral markings and emulate something like that.  I believe Messerschmitt's did but that wouldn't seem right on a Triumph. Attention getter you know.

Woohoo!  I like the spinner, but I just don't see a way to make it happen.  Now where DID I put my machine gun mounts?

Much to my surprise these are available for other triumph models like the Daytona on flea bay.

Hmmmm!  Anyone have a Daytona or another similar model to measure for compatibility?
