Longish two day ride.

One of the members [Australian IBA] decided to put a RTE together. It is planned for this coming Wednesday 29th. December in a small town in South/Western New South Wales called Wilcannia.
The significance of this ride is to visit a plaque to past Australian IBA members. This is located 17 kilometres south of Wilcannia at Netallie Hill Rest Area.
With the help of the property owner, one of our members was able to get said plaque made by another member [stonemason] and have it fitted [securely] to a largish rock in from the fence line facing away from the road.
As this ride is not an IBA ride as such I'm leaving home at midnight on Tuesday 28th. and will go via Mildura, Broken Hill and onto Wilcannia, 1,162 kilometres arriving about 2.30 pm. Wednesday. An evening meal is planned for those attending, then into bed early for the early morning start [Thursday 30th.] to be at the plaque for sunup. Someone will say a few words no doubt, before we depart for home.
I plan on being home for a latish dinner on Thursday evening. So all up about 2,324 kilometres for the two days. Another perfect way to spend quality time on my Trophy. Cheers.

I now have a new Samsung phone. My only problem is how to transfer the photos from it to the forum. All help would be appreciated.

On some occasion I have tried the Tapatalk App. Apparently the forum should not be adapted for this function.
So what I do is send them from the mobile by mail to the pc and from the pc I edit them and then send them to the forum.
From the mobile I can also send them directly to the forum, but the images are very fat and the forum does not support them, so they can be edited from the mobile itself but it is a laborious job to do it from the mobile. That is why I do the above.

Enjoy your ride and say a prayer for Davo Jones whilst you are there on my behalf, I won't make this R2E I'm afraid..........
Love, light, and kindness,

Dave, Davo is always on my mind, every time I start out at "dark thirty", either on the clock, or not. Thanks very much for all the members thoughts.
I don't think any "long distance" rider starts a ride without the thoughts of immortality entering their heads. Cheers.
