I installed my new Garmin Zumo XT and mount on my Trophy today. I also installed a rather pricey "Zumolock" from the Netherlands to prevent my new GPS from being easily removed...

I knew you guys weren't crazy about seeing my previous BMW Navigator IV on my Trophy!   :015:

It's definitely easy on these worn out old eyes!

Tramp, get your cataracts done [if needed]. I've ditched my glasses, only use them for reading or whilst on the computer. Don't wear them at all on the bike, can easily read my GPS or trip notes on the tankbag top. Cheers. :028: :028:

    Good move S.T. !  :028:

I've the same lock on my Zumo XT.  Yes, it is a bit expensive but it certainly does the job and it saves removing the whole Sat Nav for fuel stops, tea breaks etc.  I had their equivalent product for my previous Sat Nav as well. Decent quality, which is important.

Thanks for the tip my friend, but the Optometrist tells me that what Im dealing with is garden variety Macular Degeneration, and to this point its only required a prescription for reading glasses. My Doctor has a similar refrain when I discuss aching joints. Youre getting old. Deal with it.  :001:

The funny thing is, I generally feel best when Im out riding.  :028:

Funny that you should mention the clouds in the background in my photos.
After about three consecutive days with cloud cover in Phoenix, the local population tends to stay indoors and brood.   :161:
