2015 Pacific Blue TTSE - SOLD!!
    on: Jan 15, 2022, 06.58 pm
    Jan 15, 2022, 06.58 pm
PICS OF BIKE TAKEN TODAY (1/22/2022) IN POST 2.

I plan to retire this summer and riding just isn't in the cards when that happens.  I have owned at least one MC continuously since I was 19, 4 Goldwings, the TTSE, some classic '80's standards, an Interceptor VF700, etc...  Probably covered close to 300k on two wheels.

Anyway, selling this Pacific Blue 2015 TTSE.  Has just a tick under 40k miles so my plan was to do the complete service, clean and inspect everything really good during that tear down, rebuild the rear wishbone as a preventative measure, turn around the factory 'backwards' bolt, etc., then sell.
Bike needs cleaned as weather is not a riding deterrent for me.   :038:

    It has:
Knight lowering pegs (still have the stockers)
Touring windscreen (still have the stocker)
    Top box with backrest pad
    Cup holder by Ram
Taller stock euro seat (still have the stocker)
Delkavic exhaust.   Carbon Fiber.  Barely louder than stock so no noise issue. But oh so much lighter!
Have both brand new tires, unmounted
Brand new spare front brake pads and rear brake pads
Have a bunch of sealing washers for the oil and rear differential plugs
Have the full tune up kit from Triumph
Have at least one or two spare pivot bolts.
Have all the bushings/bearings to rebuild the wishbone thing
Have a little thing of touch up paint
Silverstar bulbs for headlights so nice and bright
Comes with dedicated laptop computer loaded with Dealertool and Tigertool.  It's Windows7 so just leave the WiFi off and you will never have the annoying 'what port' problem.
    Factory shop manual.
Had the dreaded ignition wire issue but fixed it prior to the recall.  Had a local auto shop extend all the wires.
Rear gearbox oil changed at 500, 10k, 20k, and 30k.  Why not, gear oil is cheap.  :038:

Oil has been changed every 5k miles.  Have a couple oil filters and 8 quarts of new oil.
Have a complete valve shim kit.
Both 500 and 20k service done at local shop that used to be a Triumph dealer.

It's been a good bike.  If someone wants to take it as-is I will include ALL the stuff listed, plus a bit more I am sure I have. Ride it home.  I will be riding to and from work until it sells.  Gotta hit the 40k mark ya know...

$6.5k as it is, all parts included.  I *think it's a very fair price.  I want a buyer to feel good about it.

After I do all the work, I will advertise it locally for $7500 or so.  I might even get out the touch up paint and blend the scratches a bit.

Purchased new by me in 2016.  And because I believe in total honesty and clarity:

Bike was down in a gentle low-side in 2018 when a deer T-Boned me.  That was at 20k miles. See pics in my album here which show it was not bad at all.  All damage was cosmetic and all parts replaced new from Triumph.  Probably down to 20 mph or so when he hit me on the left right under the handlebars.  Had the shop do the 20k service since it was time and taken apart anyway.

I tipped it in a parking lot at 1 mph in 2019.  A few small scratches from that. Tried to start in 2nd gear, full to lock turn, motor cold.  Flopped over. Pics of those scratches attached here.  Obviously I replaced the saddlebag skin.

Left switchcube buttons seem to operate intermittently.  Have a new one (also from a 2015) I was going to swap in during 40k service.  They may well just be dirty, but got replacements to be sure.  Plan to have someone with electrical knowledge repair (if needed) the ones that come off.  Worst case is you can sell them for about $50 each for them on eBay if you don't want them.  Otherwise, it operates/runs/rides/brakes flawlessly, looks great.  I typically average 48-52 mpg as I am pretty conservative and have a mix of hwy and city riding.

In other words this is a great bike, 100% functional, looks great for 40k miles in all weather riding, with lots of extras.  Heck, if you follow the manufacturer recommended 10k oil change schedule you won't have to spend a dime on maintenance until 60k as I am including oil change supplies for the 50k service.

Bike is my avatar pic.  Too dirty to put one on from today.  :745:

I will happily text/email any pics desired.  Maybe I will give it a bath and throw some more pics up this weekend.

Forgot I also have a laptop dedicated to the bike (Dealertool and Tigertool included) as well as the Triumph shop manual.  Added to ad. It's set up with Win7 so just don't ever let it connect to the internet and you can avoid the pesky Win10 issues.
I also have spare TPMS sensors for both wheels. Need new batteries of course and I am partway through replacing one of them.

The clear bag in the front has all the bearings/bushings for the wishbone, the washers and pivot bolt....

If it tips the scales I also have a few pairs of riding gloves, two riding jackets.  I'm almost 5'11", 170, 32" inseam.

Sold for full asking price (which I admit was very fair to begin with) to a very nice man.

I will miss it for sure, but he plans to take his offspring on some nice rides so that makes me feel good.

Best of luck to you rpeters549, and don't be surprised if that motorcycling bug bites you again once you have some free time in retirement!  :038:

I know this is a for sale section and not for banter (wouldn't want to irritate the admins  :001: ), but I will more than likely still lurk, maybe even offer input still here and there. After all over 30 years of riding does qualify me for a little valid input. :)
Thank y'all for the kind words Hackle and Saddletramp! I've appreciated all I've met!
