Whomever at Triumph designed the top box I'd just like to offer my whole hearted appreciation.  First bike I've owned that I could do this with and it just completes my life and my love for this bike.

Be aware of potential handling problems ....

The Maximum weight specified to carry in the Top Box is 10.0 Kg,
and those 48 cans would probably weigh in at around 17.5Kg or more !

I suppose you could always try the "lite" version !  :745:

Yeah i knew I was beyond the proposed weight limit but those pesky engineers always add in a fudge factor and I was only going 1.1 mile on a single, straight, flat, paved and limited speed road so I felt like living on the edge  :745:

Hey Coconut, how do yo specify the maximum weight for the pillion? (without getting sent to the doghouse  :745:)

... how do yo specify the maximum weight for the pillion?
(without getting sent to the doghouse )

You don't ! - You tell them that they look lovely,
and double check the tire pressures before setting off !  :745:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Or ......

You simply "blame" the Motorcycle manufacturer and their specifications :

Trophy "Maximum Payload" ( which includes Rider / Pillion and goods carried in or on the motorcycle ) = 239 Kg

    e.g. Rider = 100 Kg,
ALL Luggage and storage areas loaded to specified maximum capacity :
    Panniers : 10 Kg each
    Top Box : 10Kg
Cockpit Storage Box : 1.5 Kg
Under Seat Storage Box : 0.5Kg ( 1.7Kg for non SE Model without Audio Unit )

    Payload would be 100 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 1.5 + 0.5 = 132 Kgs
( Change the "100" for the actual Rider's weight and adjust the sums accordingly ! ).

    This would leave 239 - 132 = 107 Kgs available for a Pillion passenger.

Remember to include Riding Gear ( Leather jackets are heavy ! ) and helmets etc,
and don't rely on their "advertised" weight when standing naked on the bathroom scales !  :745:

    Cheers  :821:
