    Ideas for tankbag waterproof cover?

    Hi all, I bought a used tankbag that came without its waterpfoof cover. Any ideas how I could use something as a cover or any covers that fit.

    Ah, I've just seen there is such a thing as a waterproof backpack cover. I'll see if I can find a suitable fit with a drawstring. Should do the job.

    That thought crossed my mind when I saw the new thread heading, I've done that with other tank bags when the clear part goes milky or starts to crack. From memory, the only thing special about the genuine one is that it's a bit squarer than the bag to be able to accommodate the removable map pocket but that probably won't be an issue for many  :038:

    Just a thought - if you can find a clear plastic shower cap that is stretchy enough...

    I'd also expand your search to some sort of beauty/barber/stylist supply shop that sells the equivalent to a shower cap for covering product left in the hair.  They might be larger and/or thicker material.  Of course, I'm old and often confused.  :012:

    Waterproof scooter seat cover.  Loads on eBay around 6 quid. Elasticated bottom.
