It "may" be a Launch model - I had a '62 Plate that was a Launch model, but mine
was first Registered in October 2012, this one was Registered in November 2012.
The Launch Models came with all the bells and whistles including TPMS,
Heated Grips and Heated Seats, Top Box, and the taller Touring Screen.
If you already have a relationship with a Triumph Dealer,
ask them if they can advise on any Service records, and Recalls.
You can check for outstanding Recalls yourself on Triumph's website,
but only if you have the VIN Number.
IMPORTANT THINGS are :
The Ignition Switch Wiring Safety Recall Inspection ( SRAN 574 ) MUST have been completed.
A 20,000 Miles service, where the Valves are checked and adjusted should have been completed.
If neither of the above have been done - walk away.
The MOT History is always worth a look ......
I would enquire, and inspect any Service / Maintenance documentation, relating to these MOT Advisories :
On 19/11/20 the Trophy Failed the MOT Inspection because a Headlight Bulb
was not working, and the Registration Plate was insecure !
The mileage was recorded as 28,912 miles.
These "advisories" were listed :
Front Wheel bearing has slight play (5.1.3 (a) (i))
Rear Wheel bearing has slight play (5.1.3 (a) (i))
Offside Front upper brake pads worn more than lower
Oil level slightly high
Rear Shock absorber has a light misting of oil (5.3.2 (b))
Front Brake indicates slight fluctuation of brake effort (1.2.1 (e))
Rear Brake indicates slight fluctuation of brake effort (1.2.1 (e))
The same date, and with the same mileage, an MOT PASS was issued
at a different Testing Station,
where the same Advisories were again noted.I would be interested to know WHY the Test was conducted at a different Testing Station,
( especially as it only needed a replacement Headlight Bulb and the Registration Plate securing,
and had not accrued any additional mileage ! ), as this would have required the payment of another Fee,
as a "free" Retest is only available at the same Testing Station that carried out the original Test.

On 17th April 2021, the next MOT was conducted, some 7 months before it was due, and after
only 49 Miles.
This Test was conducted at a different Testing Station to the two that had previously noted the above Advisories,
and only one of those advisories was still present : "Oil level slightly high".

It "may" be that the work required to clear those other Advisories had been completed
and a new MOT test was then carried out in order to sell the bike with a full 12 months of MOT,
but I would be asking to see proof of that work, to satisfy myself that everything was legitimate.
Interestingly, the "Rear Wheel Bearing has slight play" Advisory probably refers to play
within the Rear Final Drive Unit, which does not have the usual type of wheel bearings that,
for example, would be found in the front wheel.
If the advisories were cleared by having remedial work done, I'd want to see documentary evidence
such as Purchase Invoices for Front Wheel Bearings, Front Brake Pads, Front Brake Discs,
Rear Brake Disc and Pads, Servicing of the Rear Suspension Unit Shock Absorber ( seals ),
and an explanation of why the "Rear Wheel bearing has slight play" advisory was no longer present.
A further 409 miles have accumulated from the date of that MOT a year ago,
to when the Seller recorded the mileage for the eBay listing, where it is quoted as 29,370.
If it DID have the 20,000 mile service when scheduled,
it will be due a 10,000 Mile service after another 630 miles.
When inspecting the bike, you may find this Topic useful :
What to look for when Buying a Pre-Owned ( Used ) Trophy SE.... and this Topic so you can see what is needed at the 10,000 Mile service,
for which any Triumph Dealership would provide you with a quotation
and which may be useful in any negotiations with the Seller ! :
