I have used Piaa lights and bulbs for a while.
You get more light without the hassle of mounting the box for HIDs or cutting the seal to mount LEDs. I have used both and went back to the Piaa  lights

My neighbour has, very thoughtfully, painted a very white wall on the side of their house, right at the end of my drive 😁

Just the lamps themselves, alongside LED DRL’s amd LED pilot lamp, to show colour temperature.
One against the wall to show beam pattern to follow…

@2slowtrophy,  How long to your PIAA last? Can you get a full year out of them? I have tried the Silverstar Ultra's in the past and they always seem to go out at night when it's raining. Having 2 head light will offset this, but it's still a pain. I used to switch change them every spring with new ones till I switched to HID's.

@Redmerle, those light BRIGHT! I also love the Red color of your bike. I haven't seen one of the red ones in person.

When I got my 2015 I put the Piaa’ in and just over 11,000 miles on them.
I use them in my 2014 and around 2 years I had to start replacing them.
Worst case scenario you can turn on the high beam and adjust them lower and your good to you get home or replace them.

I had the Extreme whites that have a blue end and now I have the superplasma GT‘s that have lasted just over 11,000 miles

They are so much more noticeable in day light that even the most extreme of halogens!
Drat, I forgot to get the second picture (of the beam pattern) done tonight 🤦‍♂️
Glad you like the colour, thank you 👍

Top of beam pattern on dip as promised. Pretty flat, with odd little uptick slightly offset to the right.
Passed the beam alignmemt test in the local annual roadworthyness test (MoT)

That looks like a very concentrated area in the centre !

Based on your recommendations I ordered some of these.  :028:

In no way is thsi the Seller's fault who ( fortunately ) sent the Order with Tracjed delivery,
but according to Royal Mail they were delivered to me on Thursday ( they weren't ),
and their "Proof of Delivery" photo was a patch of unidentifiable Road Tarmac,
with no Parcel in the Photo !  At least they have admitted to me that they delivered it
to the wrong address and are now trying to retrieve it - SO annoying !  :233:

Might have to buy another set and hope that Royal Mail dontl F**k up a second time !

    That’s a pain!
Please let me know how you get on with them. You’ll notice a huge difference in day time visibility to other road users.
