    Cheap Insurance

I picked up a nice used driveshaft ( $42 w/shipping ) and 3 stick coils ( $38 w/shipping ) off EBay.  So now I don't have to worry about my driveshaft or a stick coil failing.  I couldn't pass up the deals.

The front splines on the driveshaft are in good condition, but don't have much lube on them.  This again confirms my feeling that the splines should be  re-lubed about every 20K miles.  I just lubed the splines on my original driveshaft a month or so ago @ 20K miles.  They were a little dry.  I'm glad I investigated the condition of the lube at that time.
