I've been riding on Avon 3D Storm for quite a long time now and must confess they have been the best fit to me on all sort of tarmac, all kind of weather and longevity as well.Far above Pirellis, Dunlops and Metzelers I've had in the past. Cannot tell for Michelin, never tried them.

I put on Bridgestone BATTLAX SPORT TOURING T32 GT tires last year.  I like them.  I just finished a 5000 km trip to California and encountered all kinds of road and weather conditions.  In the wet/rain they were very good but of course, I don't ride as spirited in the rain.  Displaced water very well going through a few puddles.  Stuck to the road in the twisties very well and provided excellent stopping power.  Would buy them again.

My last 2 sets of tires were both Avon Storm 3D XM's and I have no complaints.  Got 11 & 13K miles out of the first set put on at different times and the current complete set was replaced at the same time.  Late in their life span I noticed a bit of loss in wet grip.
