Hello from Dayton, Ohio!

I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally registered for an account.

I currently ride a 2006 DL650 Wee-Strom which I've owned since 2007. I have 65,000 miles on that bike which has taken me all over the United States without issue. I also recently bought a Honda CRF300L/Rally so I could ride trails with my 12 year old son. It's been a blast for both of us and we're always looking for new adventures.

Recently I've become interested in a sport touring bike and narrowed the list down to the ST1300 and the Trophy and that's why I finally joined the forum. I've been focusing on bikes in the $8-$10K range. One of the biggest items that draws me to the Trophy is the factory cruise control. I can't see doing more long days on the road without cruise and that's where the ST1300 falls short. So far the Trophy is beating out the Honda.

As I continue to check out the forum I hope to learn more about the Trophy and solidify my choice.

Welcome to the forum! If you get the opportunity to ride a Trophy, it will be "decision made" time! Not sure if there is another bike with the features at the current price point.
