Okay, after 400 miles, starting at all controls, reading the manual, and pushing till i feel like I'm going to break my mirrors, I admit i have no idea how to adjust my mirrors! Help!

Just pick one corner and push, then push harder and it should give.  Then when you push too far pick the opposite corner and push it back.  Eventually, they seem to get easier.  Once you master that you will find they can swing out to get to fasteners behind them.

    BE CAREFUL !

Don't push too hard - the Glass is quite thin and WILL break !

If it breaks - the Glass is not available to buy on it's own and a
complete new mirror assembly will cost in the region of GBP £70.00  :005:

I suggest you try carefully folding the mirrors out of their pockets -
put your fingers in around the outer vertical edge of the mirror and gently pull -
it will fold outwards from the pocket and swing in towards the fuel tank.

Once folded out, squirt some silicone lubricant spray into the plastic "ball joint" of the mirror mounting,
and start by rotating the mirror glass in each direction as far as its' stops,
adding more lubricant as you do so, before trying to adjust the angle of the mirror glass on the ball joint.

    Cheers  :821:

Thanks Coconut. Mine were always very stiff and I didn't think of lubing them. Worked a treat.  :763:

Did i post this in the wrong place? I'm not a big forum guy, so a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated if there's a better place for questions. Thanks, Ken

Seems as good a place as any of the forums.  Of course, my posts seem to always get moved by an Admin so I may not know.  :034:

There is no problem at all with this Topic being posted in this Section.
There is a stipulation that Topics posted in this Section must be Trophy related.

I try and read all new Topics, and where I feel it is more appropriate for the Topic
to appear in one of the dedicated sections, I will generally move it there.
For example a discussion about an electrical fault, in the General Chat section
would probably be moved to the Lighting, Electrical and Wiring Section, with
a Redirection Message added to the Section that the Topic was moved from.

Having Topics in these different Sections can help keep everything organised,
and be of benefit to Members that may be Browsing a particular Section.

It helps when New Topics are started in an appropriate Section,
and Members can always request Topics be moved by clicking the
"Report to Moderator" button, and including a short message requesting this.
