    Just curious, but does your tachometer needle flutter a little throughout the entire sweep while running or is it just mine :027:

    Mine doesn't.  Maybe you have a mechanical vibration problem and not an electronic / electrical problem.

    Mine hasn't moved with the bike running either. It only moves when contact is given and does a check on all its sensors.
    Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

    Never noticed any flutter or erratic movement with my tach.

    When you power up do both needles sweep smoothly/correctly?

    yes, both make a smooth sweep, flick below 0 and rest at 0. smooth when idling and under 3k. if noticed it flickering a bit between 3k and 4.5k ( tends to be where I'm at most of the time) its fluctuates about 50 rpm, not horribly noticeable but once i did I have focused more on that then the road in front of me  :191:
