Sold the Trophy in July and brought a BMW 1250 RT. Spend a lot of time looking at the different bikes to replace the Trophy with something similar to it. Well everything lead to the RT, and it seems to me the Trophy was modeled after the RT. The two bikes have the same size motors, very similar electronics, adjustable wind shields, excellent wind protection, similar weights within 50#, and excellent handling & riding characteristics. Well the RT has been a good substitute for the Trophy, but still miss the Trophy, that noise when I cracked the throttle, the comfort on a long ride, and the feel on the twisties with the Trophy. But as we probably all know the price tag is substantial to move on.

The R1250RT is a bit of an upgrade with the Dynamic suspension, a pricey one, but an upgrade.
