Sold the Trophy

Hello All
Sold my Trophy and the new owner picked it up Wednesday. So, I’m saying goodbye, I have enjoyed the forum with all the interesting and helpful posts from all over the world. I picked up BMW 1250 RT and have been happy it.  Well, thanks to everyone and I wish you all many happy safe miles on your Trophies.

 Tenequip. A lot of members think that the Trophy is the ultimate bike to own. Of course I love my Trophy, but I like many others wish that Triumph had continued with the development of it. I previously owned a BMW R1200 RT prior to my Trophy. I liked it also, as I'm sure you'll like your BM. But there comes a time when you must move onto something new, to keep the interest going.

George and I happened to bump into each other at the Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley earlier this year.  I was drooling over his new RT and he noticed that I rode in on a Trophy.  Even more coincidental, we live about 1-1/2 hours apart.
