    Oil Consumption and Gas Mileage

Just thought I'd mention that after doing an IBA SS1K and IBA Great Lakes Challenge ( +4,000 miles in total) I checked the oil level and it may be down maybe  1/16 of an inch.  Of course most riding was done between 65 and 78 mph.

And I got phenomenal gas mileage, IMO.  According to the computer at 65 mph about 53 mpg (US) and at 78 mph about 51 mpg.  After a fill-up, the computer said I had 422 miles left on that tank of gas.  I expected to see a much larger difference between 65 mph and 78 mph.

Sounds like some good numbers.  If you were spending those miles on flat interstate highways that probably equals good gas mileage.
