We'll see. Gonna take it back off the trailer on Wednesday, I'll let you know.

The problem is not solved, I'm guessing the ignition wiring recall. Started up and rode about 60 chicken legs (southern distance, about 26' or 8m.)  After leaving off, not disconnecting the battery, she started, quit when I turned the handlebars. Most times she goes off, the screen goes dark. When she turns over, she starts like a champ. Twice, it quit when I pulled the brake. The clutch lever problem did not repeat itself. After I drove it the 8m and the screen came back up, I checked for DTCs and there were none. I hope it is not the mother board.  :012:

Engine / Electrics cutting out when the handlebars are turned
is a pretty sure sign of the Ignition Switch wiring fault, as suspected.

As previously advised the next journey of your Trophy
MUST be to a Triumph Dealer, and preferably on a Trailer.

Please update us when the Inspection / Repair is carried.

I will refrain from posting here again until that update.  :028:

Since I only got about 8m riding out of her, the the trailer is a good choice. :745: I have a November 8 appointment, so it will be a while before Coconut or I comment on this thread. Thanks to you all, thanks for the false hope of the battery disconnect! Fun while it lasted.

If they find no fault with the ignition wiring chafing at the headstock, they might want to check on the wiring at the main harness connector down in front of the engine.  These are the exact same symptoms I had and it turned out a wire had pulled out of that connection far enough that the connection was sketchy and sporadic at first and got continually worse.  You can quickly bypass all the safeties by jumping the starter relay - MAKING SURE THE BIKE IS IN NEUTRAL FIRST!  Triumph USA stepped up and covered the cost of fixing mine even though it was well out of warranty.  Need to open some dialog with them about this problem so they know what the dealer is talking about if they contact them for help.
