Decent Bluetooth intercom that ACTUALLY WORKS on the TTSE

I have a Freedconn Com headset that is actually pretty decent for not a lot of money.  It connects to my Garmin sat nav and to my Android phone with no issues.  Battery lasts for ages, and has a built in FM radio (which I don't use).

However, as is well documented here, it like many other headsets, will simply not connect to the Trophy.  I have tried every option and every sequence of connection, but it steadfastly refuses to connect to the headset setting on the Trophy bluetooth menu.

So.  I have checked posts here to see if there is a list or even one model that is proven to connect, and I can't see anything listed.

From experience, have any of you had any luck connecting to the Trophy from your helmet?  I really would like this so I can control the music tracks and volume from my switchgear on the handlebars, and also switch between radio and mp3 as I please.  I cn get mp3 music from my Garmin, but I have to reach forward to change tracks etc which can be dangerous.

Have all the pairings been deleted on the Trophy and the headset?  My Sena works best paired as the mobile phone to the Trophy, and paired to my phone as the "second" mobile phone.  I don't have my gps paired to my helmet.  Haven't re-paired the Sena in ages.

When I got my first Trophy I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get the Bluetooth from the bike to work as I wanted.  It was a very frustrating time, and added to that I bought a Toyota Car which connected easily and intuitively.

Rather than spend time in therapy I gave up on my Triumph connectivity.

I now use an iPhone12ProMax, Garmin Zumo 595LM and a Cardo Packtalk Bold.  This all works very well and does everything I need.

If you decide to hang on in there with the Triumph Bluetooth You’re a better man than I am, Gunga Din!
    Love, light, and kindness,

I bought a SENA 10S. I spent a lot of frustration trying to get it to connect. It would connect for a microsecond and then drop out. This is despite SENA saying it was compatible with the Trophy. I emailed them and after installing the next SENA update it would connect perfectly and has been working fine for five years.

The SMH10 also works with the Trophy.  I still have an old one on a different helmet and it works like a charm, will even stream the audio from the Trophy to the Sena 20S Evo.  No matter what anyone says about outside interference not affecting bluetooth, there is one place on a highway in Texas that bluetooth will drop out and it's in front of the Texas Highway Department Headquarters in Austin.  there is a dealer just up the highway from them and every single time I go by there either direction I lose my bluetooth signal momentarily.  That is no coincidence.
