Great bike, uncomfortable seat (for me)

I have put about 150 miles on my 2013 Trophy now, and it's my favorite bike that I've had.  Past bikes were Concours14, Goldwing, Honda VFR 800.  Plus riding several others long distances.  The Trophy has great wind protection, is powerful enough to scare me, good mileage, smooth, with great features, and not too heavy.

My one problem is the seat.  I have a 35" inseam and the seat (low, heated) is tilted forward to slide me into the tank, splaying my legs out.  So it's a fight between gravity and the friction on my backside to stay back off the tank.  Which isn't so nice after a out ten to fifteen minutes.  I can still feel today's 1hr ride six hours later. 
I tried putting it in the high position and liked that less.

Instead of searching for an hour, I wanted to ask, if anyone else has/had the same situation, and how did you fix it?  Not cheaply I'm guessing.  I don't want to spend $500 on another seat and find out it's no better.  And this seat being heated, and expensive, I don't want to cut it open and do any custom upholstery.

Make sure the seat is fitted properly, when I first got my bike I took the seat off, and refitted, but it wasn't until it was pointed out to me by another owner there are 2 rubber blocks at the back of the seat which sit down on to the frame, and sometimes you need to push the seat slightly further forward to for these to sit down properly, and not tip the seat slightly forward.

I have a 34“ inseam, a heated standard seat an use the upper notch. Not super happy but no more sliding forward.
I am eyeing a Corbin seat an dream of Russel day long … but do not ride enough to justify the expense (yet).

Maybe you find a standard seat to try if that helps you. Another option could be lower foot pegs? I have not tried those though.

The US & Canadian market were originally shipped with the "Low" riders seat,
whereas in the UK / Europe etc the "Standard" seat was provided, which is an Inch higher.

That extra Inch might make the difference you are looking for.

If the seat height isn't a problem, I would suggest trying a cheaper alternative such as a "Cool Cover"

This is basically a mesh cover for the seat which allows air to flow between the surface of the seat and the rider,
which can be really beneficial on hot riding days, but also acts to prevent you from sliding around on the seat
in the manner you describe :

I have a Russell Day Long Seat on my Trophy, which was even slippier than the stock seat,
especially when wearing armoured Jeans, or Cordura type trousers, and had a Custom Cool Cover made for it.
I can confirm they are one of the best accessories I bought for my Trophy !

I don't know if the Company ships outside the UK, or whether there is a similar product available where you are,
but this could be the solution at a much lower price than replacing the complete seat.

I felt your pain. Like the other US models, mine came with the low seat. Seems I kept being dumped into the front of the seat. I know they can be hard to find stateside, but a swap to the "standard" seat Coconut mentioned was a gamechanger for me. With it, no longer had the discomfort mentioned.

I also switched my low seat to the “ standard” seat.  Was a bit pricey but worth it.

Thanks guys.  I'm definitely not the only one then.
My issue isn't sliding, but needing to sit on the back of the seat, which slopes at a downward angle wanting to put me forward.  There's enough friction to stay on the sloped back part, and if my butt was made of leather, I'd be fine.  But as it is, it's a numbing, chapping experience that makes me want to get off the bike. 
I checked for seat options last night and can confirm there aren't a lot for sale.
