The software versions you refer to are only for the Audio Unit  :169:

    Cheers  :821:

For the software versions you indicate, they have nothing to do with the updates inserted in the ECU for mapping, chassis, electronics, etc. These software versions 1.04 are only for the update of the sound equipment and they were actually updated so that the battery does not discharge, since in some way the sound equipment was left with tension on the antenna that in the United States and Canada they use the Sirius XM band.

You could try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 15 minutes and then reconnect it and see if that makes a difference.

Just updating...still at the Triumph dealer, hoping to hear something tomorrow.  Also, yes, did the disconnect of the negative battery cable to see if that would fix anything and it didn't.  Hoping for the best!

Heard from the shop today...the TPS tested normal and the throttle bodies were synced fine.  They said the fuel trim levels were high on all the cylinders.  That is as far as they have gotten.  Hoping they can simply adjust the fuel trim through their computer.  We'll see...

Newest update, they think there could be a problem with the SAI, secondary air injection, which puts air into the exhaust to reduce emissions.  It is a mechanical system working as I understand off of vacuum pressure so if a hose is disconnected it won’t throw a code.

All my O2 sensors downstream are running rich so the suspicion is the SAI is not putting air into the exhaust making it appear to the O2 sensors it is running rich and the ECM is then leaning out the intake unnecessarily, causing it to stall.

They did update the tune based on new specs from Triumph so now the throttle bodies have to be re-synced.  Just trying to keep a detailed record on the forum for someone who might have this same problem again.

That doesn't make sense to me.  Syncing the throttle bodies is a mechanical adjustment done at idle.  It insures each cylinder is flowing the same amoiunt of air at idle.  Changing the "tune" can't possibly affect/change how the T.B.'s are synced/balanced.

Maybe Digital will add his 2-cents.

BTW,  When I did my 20K service I cleaned the reed valves used in the SAI system.  They wern't too dirty but aren't that difficult to clean and it doesn't take much time.   I imagine if you have a lot more miles than that on your '13 they probably are due for cleaning if they have never been cleaned before.

This fault is very interesting and as such, I think it should show a DTC, the ECM system has a system that when an intermittent type abnormality occurs, let's say, it freezes a DTC. To get that DTC to show, you need the dealer tool.

The distributor's tool also has a diagnostic system for all its sensors that, if I remember correctly, must be carried out with the engine hot and above 50ºC.

That should help the dealer fix your problem. At least know for sure where the fault may come from.

    Having said that….
I have to say that from a distance and with little information, it is very difficult to know where your problem is.

It can be for several reasons...
We should know for sure the status of the balance of the throttle valves and most importantly and that it resembles your problem. It's the throttle sensor, either adjusted or bad.

When adjusting the accelerator sensor, it is highly recommended to recheck the state of the balance of the throttle valves, since the balance can vary.

I am totally sure that your mechanic, sooner or later, will find the fault. But it scares me that until reaching the problem of the breakdown, it has touched other settings, connectors, wiring that were not relevant (unnecessary) and in the long or short term, other problems may arise and that is when we say that the Trophy is a motorcycle for many problems and we blame the manufacturer, who in that case is not to blame.

He left three photos in case they clarify any ideas.

I remember that some member of this same forum had an O2 sensor malfunction problem and in the end it turned out that the problem of a cable from the ECM to the O2 connector was cut.
