After putting the car in the "Relearn" mode, the user is instructed to point the tool at each wheels valve stem in succession and press the button on the tool, in a certain order.

At the time I got the tool, I had no idea how it worked but now it seems obvious.  It must be transmitting a 125 KHz signal that wakes up the sensor.  The TPMS ECM then knows where that sensor is located because of the prescibed order that is stipulated for the Relearn process.

T800XC :  Seems like this tool could be usefull to you for waking up a sensor during your testing.

Yup, that's how it works and I'm surprised my frequency counter still works after sitting for about 15 years without being powered-up.

And the transmitter is fairly powerful.  When observed on my o'scope, it put out about 10 volts peak to peak into 50 Ohms with about 6 wraps of wire around the stub antenna.

I have placed the TPMS sensor on the rotating motor attached with two flanges to the Pulser Ring Front and I have rotated the motor with the Pulser Ring Front at high speed and on the instrument panel it gives the result shown in the photos, logically the BAR level is returns to 00, since the TPMS sensor is not inside the tire or jam jar.

Placed the TPMS sensor on the rotary engine fastened with two zip ties to the Pulser Ring Front

According to the photos I have uploaded. The registration of the sensor in the immobilizer as rear position, does not coincide with the front position, because after registering the sensor in the immobilizer again, I registered it as front, but the first photo had already been taken and I left it as it was, since I don't give it any importance.

I have found this solution to carry out the tests that are convenient, tomorrow I receive the tire of a size as small as the one in the photo, you can put a total of three and a half kilos of air. Maximum 3.5 bar. Although they advise setting 2.5 to 3.3 Bar, enough to be the same as the Trophy tires.

I'll have to build a stand to hold the tire and fit a small motor to spin the tire. At different speeds. It could also spin the tire with the signal coming from the same throttle grip. The latter, I'm thinking.

I have inserted the sensor TPMS inside the tire and put air to the tire over 3 Bars, I made the guide support to place the tire placed on the wheel axis 4 needle cages so that the tire rotates with maximum smoothness.

The tire moves electronically with an electric magnet motor, controlled with a potentiometer so that the wheel rotates at more or less speed.

I have traveled about 5 kilometers and I have been lowering the wheel from low speed to high speed. It recognizes the TPMS sensor. but I have not been able to show the sensor TPMS information on the instrument panel. Something is escaping me!!!

    Digital:

You are spinning only one tire, correct ?

Maybe the TPMS program needs to see both wheels spinning before the dispaly will show the TPMS pressures ( ?? ).
