Digital Tacho intermittent

Good morning,

I have had a few problems with my Digital Tacho dropping out intermittently. The analogue tacho works throughout and the digital tacho kicks back in at some point. Its not a major as I have the analogue. Just an annoying glitch. Anyone else have the same problem?

Are you sure you mean Tachometer ( Rev counter ) and not Speedometer ?

The digital readout of the bikes speed. Both mechanical dials (revs and speed work fine).

The "Speedometer" ( whether digital or analogue ), displays the speed
of the motorcycle across the ground in Miles or Kilometres per hour.

The "Tachometer" displays the operating speed of the engine in Revolutions per minute.
( There is no Digital Tachometer display - other than on connected Diagnostic equipment ).

The Trophy digital speedometer display IS known to be affected by low climate temperatures. 

There are several reports throughout the Forum of the Digital Speed not displaying
when the temperature is low - typically anywhere below 4 or 5 degrees Celsius,
but always resumes when the temperature warms up, so that is almost certainly
the issue you are experiencing, and is nothing to worry about,
although no-one really seems to know why it happens !

Indeed, as Coconut says. The digital speedometer shuts off exactly when it goes below 5 degrees and comes back on once it's above 5 degrees.

Digital Speedo !!! I've never seen this, where can I find it??

describes how to select the Digital Speedometer as one of
the items that can be displayed on the top line of the display.
