    Availability of Parts

Sorry if some of this is cross-posted from another forum but it was suggested that as my query is Trophy-related this might be a better place to post.

I have a friend who lives in Ecuador and he has the possibility of buying a Trophy (Year 2013). He likes the bike but is concerned that he may not be able to get parts. Does anyone know if parts for the Trophy are easy to get?  He says that he can get the bike serviced but his main concern is the possible difficulty in getting parts.  Also, the bike he's considering is a 2013 year, which seems to be very early in the production run, would it be advisable to avoid 2013 bikes?

    Thanks!

     :400: To the forum.

Depending on which spare parts, it is difficult to find. But searching, you can always find or opt for other solutions.

I would suggest to your friend that he makes enquiries with
the Triumph Agent in Ecuador and ask them about Parts availability.

He will probably find that Parts are available, but will have to wait for them
to be shipped from the UK, and may have to pay a premium for the shipping costs.

    Here's a Link to the Distributor :

    Triumph of Ecuador

    Cheers  :821:

He can probably get a non-Triumph affiliated opinion from Ecuador Freedom Bike Rentals in Quito.  They have several Tigers in their stable.  Awesome company to deal with.
