I started to lose oil from the pushrod seal, when I had just over 200,000 kilometers.
Change the complete assembly of the rear electronic damper. Saying that is not an easy task. With a lot of patience it can be removed and reinstalled without any problems.
You have to follow the instructions in the workshop manual, although I must add that it will also be necessary to remove the panel on the left side where the BMW type socket is anchored and the panel that covers the fuses. The workshop manual does not indicate removing this panel, but it is necessary since the nut of the upper screw that holds the electronic shock absorber will turn and it will be necessary to insert a wrench from the left side that holds that nut.
I was able to get all the screws out with some difficulty and put them back in with a bit more difficulty. At the end, place all its screws, especially those that hold the support of the TES module of the electronic damper.
It is not necessary to remove all the panels on the left and right. Only the small left panel that covers the fuses, the black cover where the BMW-type socket is located, and the small panel on the right that covers the four blue relays.
Once the shock assembly is fully loose you need to figure out how to get it to go through the middle of the Swingarm, note its position for when you have to re-install it as keep in mind that the shock has to go through the middle of the Swingarm and the preload motor has to pass, both of which are linked by the small oil hose.
