    Just goes to show, non of us look in the workshop manual properly, started to try and measure pistons, but without removing them I couldn't get accurate measurements, so while getting the torque settings for the calipers and wheel spindle from the manual, I had a look at general information, and there staring me in the face, all the piston measurements.

    Right side 2 x 34.0mm, 2 x 27mm. (LBS)
    Left side   2 x 34.0mm, 2 x 30mm

    LBS = Linked Brake System

    Now to start looking for SS  pistons.   :152:

    I Have looked at the Sprint Manufacturing site.

    They do supply 30mm & 34mm pistons, but they don't do short 27mm pistons, nor do they do Stainless steel pistons, except long 27mm stainless or standard, they come with seals, but 30 - 34mm dont.

    So it looks like this avenue has come to a dead end, will see what powerhouse stock.

    One door closes, another opens.      :084:

    Looks like Brake Crafters in Ohio has some S.S. caliper pistons that might fit. i have no idea how much shipping would be and any other taxes, etc.

    30 mm in diameter x 22.5 mm, or 29 mm or 31 mm long

    34 mm in diameter x 22.5 mm or 29 mm long

    27 mm in diamter x 22.5 mm, or 29 mm, or 31 mm long

    They are all between $26 to $28 USD each.

    I just got through putting new wheel bearings, seals, 1675's ground steel (stainless I think) spacers, and cleaning up the calipers and installing new EBC pads which really weren't worn enough to warrant it, but I was there, so it made sense.  The discs were 4.89 on the right one and 4.95 on the left so good for a while, and the aluminum spacers both had a tiny groove worn in them from the seals and there was evidence of water intrusion with 39,463 miles on the clock.  Brakes felt good after the short trip so it will be ready for the Arkansas 2023 Twisted Trophies Razorback Classic get together coming up shortly.

    After much thought, I've bitten the bullet and purchased Triumph parts for the front calipers, have given up trying to source stainless pistons, will still keep my eyes open in case I come across any though.
