What Battery Tender are you using? Never needed a battery tender before the Trophy but apparently the alternator is not able to keep up with the load. What are you using? I will be plugging into the powerlet adaptor.

i am using optimate 4....lot of discussion on alternators and things, i can't help reflecting i have an 1198cc renault for which the battery is at least twice the size so for me the trophy is doing ok. i suspect the problem many of us see is the audio system cut off is a bit sensitive and i predict a software update will sort it at some point. We have a Great bike with a few experimental things going on......we are pathfindersl on a great journey

I have an earlier Optimate. I am not always sure when I will get out on the bike next so it is just second nature now to plug in the umbilical when I put the bike away. It takes seconds and I then have no fear of drained battery when I need it!

I use a Battery Tender Plus, for my cars and my bikes. I go directly to the battery. I don't know if there is a way to connect the Batery Tender Plus through a power let adapter.
