As anyone with a modular flip up helmet knows, its a bit more difficult to get a good position for a go pro mount on the helmet, if you are looking to capture some ride footage. On my previous helmet, I had the GoPros mounted off to the left side on a multiple hinged contraption. It works, but the side of my helmet is constantly in the image, also the wind noise is bad.
With the usual chin vent, and added switch gear for opening a modular chin piece, its much harder to get a chin mount which is a better place to mount a camera.
I have since discovered this company who actually make custom chin mounts for all the most popular helmets, including flip ups. They claim to have over 300 dedicated mounts specific to actual helmet models.
I have just ordered a bespoke one for my Nolan N100-5.
When on the site, if you give it a few minutes, a voucher offer will pop up for 10% off your order. The company is based in Canada but deliver worldwide. Max delivery what is shown as 25 days.
I got my mount at £32 with £5 delivery to the UK.
