Weird auto accident

I have always worried about something like this happening to me when I am on a motorcycle next to a big 18 wheeled rig or even an RV considering the number of blowouts I have gotten in my Class C RV. But this is a bit different as it is the entire wheel that came off.

Surprisingly the guy in the car that flipped came out with only minor injuries. I don't think a motorcycle could be as lucky.

Years ago while I was driving a local delivery truck I was stopped to pick up some inventory for our store in downtown Houston.
Heard a loud rumble and a pop and looked toward the overpass next to the business and down comes an entire 18 wheeler tire, bounced on the roadway below 2 or 3 times and hit the side of a brick building across the street about 6 feet off the ground.  Employees came running out from every exit.  Dangerous stuff!
