I would really love for someone to get the use out of the GREAT Road 6 GT front and rear tires with less than 1000 miles that were mounted on my Trophy when it cratered, but I'm not sure just how to accomplish that, because when I sell it at salvage it will need tires to transport it.  I don't have any of my old tires that I can take down to a shop and get mounted so I could ship the Michelins.  No Triumph dealer near me, and other brand's dealers have already told me they won't work on other brands any longer after one of them broke my pressure sensors once before and had to buy me new ones from a Triumph dealer.  Any ideas from someone close enough to New Braunfels work something out?

I've got a set pf the GT6 tires in the garage with 8K miles on them and probably only another 2-3K worth of tread left.  If you end up needing them I can ship them.

Thanks for that.  I'll see if I can work something out. If I don't get any interest in them maybe you would like a spare FRESH set that I could ship back to you after having your old ones mounted.  Shipping and mounting would cost way less than buying a set, and at this point it's the least I can do for you.

    Hey Trophied,

Wow this is not good. I feel for you. I would remind you that alcohol is the solution. Okay it IS a solution.

What do you think you can get for it via salvage? Do you have time and want to part it out? You might be able to get more money that way.

If you are looking for a used Trophy, what is your price range? If you can't discuss that now due to sadness and or hangover, that is understandable.

When in doubt gas it, at least it ends the suspense.

Can't really do much until we sell our motorhome, but I'm really reluctant to have another Trophy due to the shim and bucket valve train and the hassle involved just to change an air filter.  The other side of that coin is that I have a LOT of extra stuff that was on my Trophy and Michelin Road 6 GT tires with less than 1K miles on them.  I wouldn't have to buy any of that extra stuff if I went that direction, and I do already know what is involved with owning one.  I'll post when a decision is finally made.

Wow, that's rough.  Sorry to hear about that.  Its scary, but could happen o any bike at any time I suppose.  I've a big solo trip coming to the Alps in 5 weeks time.  Thousands of miles from home.  I've prepped just about as much as I can, but there's always that nagging thought in the back of your mind, what if....
Of course these things are random, and fairly rare.  Its just not nice when it visits you.
I hope you get sorted with a new bike.

A 2017 very low mileage blue Trophy will be in my garage a week from this Sunday!  It's the only thing involving 2 or for that matter 3 (wife's preference) that made fiscal sense at this time.
