Blinker switch is sticking, how to fix it.

My '13 Trophy SE blinker switch is a bit sticky. When I push it for a right turn, it doesn't return and is a bit when moving it to the center position.

Anyone have this issue? How did you fix it?

My thoughts are, without disassembling it, is to open it up and if nothing looks work or broke, use dielectric grease to coat the parts. Feedback on that idea?

When in doubt gas it, at least it ends the suspense.

Open, clean, regrease sounds like the perfect solution to me. Maybe try and see how it's got full of crud in there too, while it's open?

I recently had the same problem, cured with a squirt of white grease no need to take apart quick squirt and fixed

+1  Might as well try the easy fix first.

So am I the only person who thinks a squirt of some cleaner before even trying grease is appropriate?  My first thought is there is dirt/sand inside causing the issue and try cleaning before adding an attractant for more dirt/sand.  OK, I'll crawl back under my rock now!   :016:

If an attractant is the concern use a dry film lube of some kind.  Lots on the market.  Dusty conditions and any attractant may be the culprit.
