    I had the same problem a couple of years ago, used WD 40 no problems since.

    I always use this type of contact cleaner spray
    Only motorcyclists know why dogs stick their head out the car window.

    Had, have the same issue occasionally with my 2013.  Little squirt with WD 40 and or a little light lube gets it going. No disassemble!

    I've had that switch cube apart when I thought I had a sensor switch problem as the reason for my '13 not starting.  Wasn't related to that issue.  Nothing to be afraid of in opening up that assembly, it's not that difficult to open fix an issue and reassemble with a little patience and care.  Nothing in there is rocket science.
