Potted TPMS sensors - battery

This is what my TPMS sensors look like. They are potted/sealed. I can see from earlier posts on this subject that it is still possible to change the battery in them, but I’m not sure how to remove the battery to change it. I could carefully cut around the edge of the potting compound and try to prise it out but I am worried about damaging the circuit board. It would be a great help if any of you who have successfully replaced a battery in this type of sensor could explain how you managed to remove the battery and replace it. Also how you resealed it after replacement. Thanks in advance for your

With a small cutter you can and removing the rubber that covers the battery. I leave you some photos so you can see where the battery is located and you will see that there is no risk to remove the battery.

Thanks for that advice Digital. Did you manage to find new batteries with identical tabs on, in order to solder them to the circuit board connections? Also, after installing the new batteries did you reseal over the top of them with silicone or similar?

I buy this type of battery with positive and negative leads, cut the sheets off the old batteries, and solder the positive and negative leads from the new batteries to the sheets cut from the old batteries

Once the batteries have been replaced, I place a piece of heat shrink sleeve 4 centimeters wide

With this type of heat gun, I blow hot air so that it sits on the TPMS sensor
