Engine cutting out

Went out on my bike the other day after 15 min engine cut out no misfire or splutter as if running out of fuel just cut out as if ignition switched off tried to start it nothing just spun over ten mins later started ran for six mins then cut out again it’s has though something is overheating and braking down
Unless iam barking up the wrong tree any ideas would be appreciated
